OpenText WebDav & IIS 7 WebDav Authoring

Hi:

If you are trying to set up your OTCS WebDav; after you run the installer for WebLink for the IIS WebServer to configure the local WebDav Directory over which your application will process the webdav requests, you will be prompted to Start the IIS WebDav Authoring over the application server.

WebDav Authoring can be added as a role over the IIS webserver. The WebDAV 7.0 and WebDAV 7.5 modules shipped out-of-band for IIS 7.0, which required downloading and installing the modules from the following URL:

Download the module from http://www.iis.net/expand/WebDAV.

Right click the installer and click "Install".Accept the terms and condition and click on Install.Once finished .

> Open Start, All Programs, Administrative Tools, Internet Information Services (IIS)                Manager.

> Navigate to the Default Web Site.
> Double click the WebDAV Authoring Rules.
> Select Enable WebDAV in the Actions pane.

Now to add the authoring rule, add the authoring rule as per your application design and requirement, for my case i added it as below, allowing access to specific content, all users and permission as Read & Source

The Final step would be to configure the WebDav Settings.
For the application i work i have set it as in the screen-shot.

Cheers,
You are set to use WebDav  for your application.
